Our education is thorough and robust. To enhance your learning and begin collecting for your professional coaching library, we require you to purchase several widely respected coaching textbooks listed in your syllabus.
In Module 1, you learn how to use the campus website, create your self-study schedule, discover how to employ adult learning theory in your coaching practice, and learn how to set up your free appointments with your Personal Education Coach, Supervision Coaching, and how best to utilize their services. You will be guided through creating your individual learning and graduation plan to empower you to stay on course with your studies so you can graduate in the time frame that best suits your graduation goals and lifestyle.
Course Outcome: You learn the basics of what a coach is and is not and how coaching differs from other professions in the mental health and helping fields. The history, theory, and influences that have impacted the creation of the coaching industry are taught to support your full understanding of the field. You learn when and how to refer to other professionals if necessary.
Course Outcome: The courses in module 4 will give you the nuts and bolts of how to coach. You will learn how to know if a client is ready for coaching and what to do if they are not. Developing awareness and utilizing it for maximum change, learn to pose questions based on what and how you hear a client. Learning how to listen and what a coach listens for will be some essential skills you will develop. You will learn how to use time-tested tools and assessments coaches use industry-wide so that when you graduate from ITTC, you will have a comprehensive coaching education to help you excel in any coaching niche.
Course Outcome: In Module 5, you will develop the skills of a high-performing coach by learning how to practice the presence that puts a client at ease and brings out the best of their clients. In this module, you practice states of presence that creates an emotionally safe environment for your clients while creating the right mix of encouragement, support, and honest assessment. At the same time, you develop the capacity to be present with yourself and understand how to hold yourself accountable for your self-care, self-awareness, and self-expectancy.
Course Outcome: You will be trained and licensed to use ITTC’s signature transpersonal coaching model and learn how to use it in any coaching niche. You also develop a comprehensive understanding of coaching industry standard models and the ability to know how to incorporate the best model for each client in any given situation.

Live hours include 105 hours of live classroom instruction + 42 Hours of Self-Study + 17 hours of in-class practicum + 3 hours of private mentor coaching = 167 program hours.
6 Hours
You receive 3 private coaching hours with your Personal Education Coach and 3 private coaching hours with Elizabeth that you may use for any purpose, personal or professional.
30 Hours
30 hours of Peer Coaching allows you to practice your unique coaching method with a fellow student scheduled at your convenience.
20 – 99 hours
Independent study consists of required reading, completion of graduation requirements, review of your free resources, and recommended reading. You decide!
